As demand for housing continues to rise and supply tightens, many Australians are seeking to escape the rental cycle and secure their first property.
Renters in higher-priced locations such as Sydney may think home ownership is out of reach, but not if you know where to look, says Australia YMCI Director Jason Tan.
“Australia is experiencing a period of low rental vacancy rates and rising rent levels... renters are looking at what they are paying and they want to get off the treadmill,” Tan says.
The developer’s Sapphire Apartments project in western Sydney is an example of how savvy buyers can enter the property market – in a well-serviced location poised for growth.
